Why Choose Hydraulic Nailed Pallets?

Introduction: There are many types of wooden pallet nailing equipment. More than 95% of them use pneumatic nail gun nailing systems. Although this type of equipment has a relatively low cost, it has a high nail missing rate and requires frequent maintenance. Due to factors such as nail gun quality, nail quality, and unstable air pressure supply, problems such as missing nails, nail jams, and protruding nails are difficult to completely avoid.

Nowadays, pallet quality requirements continue to increase. For high-end and chemical industry wooden pallets, nail defects are strictly inspected during acceptance. Once a nail protrudes, it can easily damage chemical packaging bags and cause serious consequences. Therefore, nailing quality has become a key factor in wooden pallet production.

The hydraulic pallet production line is an ideal solution specifically designed to solve these problems.

Working Principle of Hydraulic Pallet Nailing

Hydraulic pallet nailing adopts an automatic loose nail sorting and feeding system. After nails are poured into the vibrating nail box, they are arranged neatly through a dedicated nail track, then accurately delivered into the hydraulic nail gun by the nail feeding device. Finally, the hydraulic drive mechanism smoothly presses the nails into the wooden boards to complete the nailing process.

Advantage 1: Eliminating Missing Nails

A ring-shaped photoelectric detection device is installed outside the nail feeding path. If the system does not detect the normal falling signal of a nail, the equipment will immediately display the corresponding nail gun fault number on the operation screen and stop the production line. Production can only resume after the nail is correctly positioned, preventing defective pallets caused by missing nails from entering the market.

Advantage 2: Preventing Protruding Nails

When using ordinary pneumatic nail guns to assemble European standard nine-block pallets, long and short nail guns are required. These nail guns are usually mounted on a gantry structure, creating a heavy load on the machine body. Meanwhile, the short nail turning process can easily cause serious wear to the firing pins and sealing components of pneumatic nail guns. During daily operation, nails often fail to fully enter the wood, requiring manual hammering for reinforcement, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive.

The hydraulic production line uses direct hydraulic drive to press nails into the wood. With a reinforced firing pin structure, it can easily complete nail turning operations without damaging the key components of the nail gun and firing pin. The overall durability of the equipment is increased by 3-5 times compared with traditional pneumatic nail guns.

Advantage 3: Flexible Nail Arrangement

This production line is equipped with compact and high-strength hydraulic mechanical nail guns, supporting flexible nail positioning. It can complete long and short nail nailing operations simultaneously while ensuring completely consistent nail positions on every wooden pallet. Compared with traditional pneumatic nail guns that require repeated switching between long and short nail guns, this hydraulic mechanical nail gun provides significant advantages.

Advantage 4: Production Efficiency

The production line adopts a three-time vertical pallet nailing process. Long and short nails can be installed simultaneously without changing different nail guns during production. Compared with traditional pneumatic nail gun systems that require switching between long and short nail guns and rely on left-right movement for nailing, this production line can improve pallet production efficiency by 4-5 times.

Summary: The above are the major differences between hydraulic pallet production lines and pneumatic nail gun production lines. Of course, this production line also has some disadvantages, such as larger space requirements, higher power consumption, and less convenient size changes. Users can carefully choose according to their own requirements. If you need more information about this production line, please feel free to contact us.
