1.1 Startup Interface

1.2.1 System Management

Figure 1.3 appears.

Click Database Management, as shown in Figure 1.4. In the File Name field, enter the format: [database name to back up].mdb; in Look in, select the directory where you want to save, and then the database file will be saved.

Click System Log to access the work log.

Click Select Skin to change the interface skin.

1.2.2 System Parameters

Click System Parameters, enter password 6666, as shown below:

Here you can modify the system parameters and device speed. See 1.5.3 for the specific modification method.

1.2.3 System Debugging

Click System Debugging. Under normal conditions, the left column of lights is blue and the right column is green, as follows:

This interface allows manual operation of the device mold actions. Difference between Feed and Continuous Feed: Feed is jog mode; the forming wheel stops rotating when the mouse is released. Continuous Feed is continuous operation; you need to click Stop Forming Wheel to stop the rotation.

Click OK to exit the system.

1.2.6 Recipe Group Management

New creates a new group, which can be used to categorize recipes. Click New, as follows:

Enter the recipe group name “Qingdao Saifan”, then click OK, as follows:

You can modify the recipe group name. Click the recipe group name “Qingdao Saifan”, then click Modify:

Enter the modified name “Qingdao Saifan Machinery” and confirm:

To delete a group, you can select it from the drop-down arrow:

Select 123, then click Delete to delete group 123 and all recipes in it.

The Save button is not needed.

1.2.7 Recipe Operation

• Wizard

This is a tool used to edit recipes, in which you can enter the dimensions of each box. Before using this tool, you should first call up a recipe group to categorize the recipes. First call up “Qingdao Saifan Machinery”, then click Wizard:

Select the first wizard:

Name: the name of the box.

Length: the length of the box.

Width: the width of the box.

Height: the height of the box.

Gap: the size by which the steel strap is larger than the wooden board.

Board Thickness: the thickness of the wooden board.

Long Side Waist Hole Count: the number of fasteners on the long side of the box.

Short Side Waist Hole Count: the number of waist holes on the short side of the box.

Column Waist Hole Count: the number of waist holes along the height of the box.

Overlap: the length of the final joint of the steel strap.

Half Type: the steel strap wraps half of the bottom cover; two straps are needed to wrap the wooden board completely.

Full Type: the steel strap wraps the full perimeter of the bottom cover.

Opening Position Long Side: after the steel strap is wrapped, the joint is on the long side.

Opening Position Short Side: after the steel strap is wrapped, the joint is on the short side.

After entering the corresponding data, click Generate Recipe:

Click Save, and a recipe 22 is added under Saifan Machinery. From now on, all recipes can be directly searched and processed here:

You can view the detailed information of this recipe, such as graphics and data. Click Auto Arrange Teeth, and after moving the tooth holes to the position, this recipe can be processed:

Except for the waist hole position, everything else is the same as Wizard 1.

Waist Hole Position: the distance from the center of the first waist hole on the long side to the nearest corner hole corresponds to the long side waist hole position; the distance from the center of the first waist hole on the wide side to the nearest corner hole corresponds to the wide side waist hole position; the distance from the center of the first waist hole on the height to the height cutting edge corresponds to the height waist hole position.

Column Included and Not Included: used for making the bottom cover separately.

Select the third wizard:

Ignore Gap, Board Thickness, and Overlap. Here, Quantity refers to how many columns are arranged together for tooth arrangement, not how many columns we need to process.

• New

Create an empty recipe, applicable to non-standard sizes:

Click New, enter “symphan”, and confirm:

Data needs to be manually entered in the table to make non-standard boxes.

• Delete

First select the unused recipe, then click Delete to remove it.

• Modify

Select the recipe whose name is to be modified, then you can modify the recipe name:

After confirming, “22” becomes “Saifan Packaging”:

• Add

Used to add recipes in the database to the production plan. First select the recipe to be added, then click Add:

After entering the quantity, click OK:

• Insert

Used to insert an urgent recipe: first select the position to insert, then select the recipe to insert, and enter the quantity.

Waist Hole Indentation: used to ream the waist hole.

Corner Hole Indentation: used to ream the corner hole.

Fault Reset: used to automatically restore the device status.

Log: system error prompts.

Start, Stop, Pause: used to run and stop the device.
